Beyond Earth 2023 Symposium

November 1, 2023 - November 2, 2023

Beyond Earth

The Beyond Earth Institute (BE) will again host the Beyond Earth Symposium on November 1-2, 2023, at the American University, Washington School of Law, in Washington, DC. The Symposium will build on the success of BE’s inaugural event in October 2022. This year we go deeper into the policy issues impacting the rapidly evolving space ecosystem. Stakeholders from across the industry, government, and international sectors will gather to examine the policy challenges of the moment and those that push the envelope to inspire the best chance for off-world migration in this century.

“The success of the BE Symposium last year confirmed that we are on the right path,” said BE President Steve Wolfe, “The space community is now ready for a sober dialogue on the policies that can propel human spaceflight and habitation.”

Courtney Stadd, Executive Vice President of Beyond Earth, added, “Our growing list of sponsors, as well as individual policy experts and organizations eager for BE to build on last year’s public-private sector engagement, has generated momentum for continuing these in-person Space Symposia. We look forward to generating forward leaning concrete recommendations to ensure humanity’s continued off-planet communities that ultimately offer self-sustaining economic enterprises while benefiting our precious home planet.”
