Six Pacific Storms

This composite image from 12:00 (UTC) today shows the string of six tropical cyclones currently affecting the Pacific, an unusually high number on a given day.
Storms Nangka, Chan-hom, Halola, Lune, Enrique and Dolores are shown and indicated in yellow.

The image comprises infra-red data from the global geostationary satellite ring, operated by EUMETSAT, JMA and NOAA, overlaying NASA’s Blue Marble Next Generation land-map.
