Santorini, Greece as seen by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti aboard the International Space Station for her Minerva Mission. She posted these images to her social media on 19 August 2022 and says:

Γεια σου Ελλάδα! Greece is the birthplace of countless myths, of philosophy, democracy & the Olympic Games! I love the intricate patterns of Greece’s coastlines, the tongues of land protruding into the seas, the cities nested in the bays and the thousands of enchanting islands.
