Several NASA Centers teamed up to host a Google+ Hangout andrap about the flight of the agency’s next Hurricane and Severe Storm Sentinel, or HS3 mission.
The five-year project first took to the field in 2012 from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. HS3 uses two NASA Global Hawk aircraft to study hurricanes in the Atlantic basin.
