NASA Opportunity Rover’s View From Left Rear Hazard Camera
This picture from the rear hazard-identification camera on NASA’s Opportunity looks back at the tracks the rover made during a 3.54 meter (10.6 foot) drive on Feb. 5. Starting from the point where Opportunity had been since it first moved off its lander, the rover made two arcs to the right, then one arc to the left, then a 30-degree turn in place, then a straight-ahead drive.
