Beagle 2 Status Report 2 Jan 2004
The next press briefing will be held in the Beagle 2 Media Centre at
08.30 GMT on Sunday 4th January where the speakers will be Professor
Colin Pillinger and Dr Mark Sims. They will provide an update about the
work of the Beagle 2 team over the last few days and speak about the
opportunities that lie ahead next week with Mars Express coming into the
correct orbit. In addition they will provide comment on the landing of
“Spirit”, the first of NASA’s rovers, due to land earlier on
4th January.
Following the briefing there will be interview opportunities with the
speakers.
