Background information on the transmission:

On 26 April at 03:58 GMT, two astronauts-one American and one Russion-will take off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome en route to the International Space Station. They will be living and working for six months onboard the ISS, and the current ISS crew will return to Earth on 4 May. Due to the Columbia Shuttle tragedy, ISS crews are reduced to two persons until the Shuttle fleet is flying again.
Today’s transmission provides the background for this launch, including pictures from the current Expedition Six Crew in orbit, and Expedition Seven Crew getting ready for launch.
The programme comprises of a 5 minute A-roll with split audio (English commentary/international sound) and is complimented by a B-Roll with clean international sound.
The script will be available on the day of transmission as a PDF document, on the ESA TV Website. Also the URL of the preview file will be posted on the day of transmission.
