The Mars Express spacecraft was built in Toulouse and recently transported by an Antonov freighter plane to the Baikonur Cosmodrome where it will now be integrated onto the upper stage of a Soyuz launcher. This Exchange covers all stages of this complex transport, from packing of the satellite until start of final pre-launch checks of the satellite in Baikonur.

The programme comprises of a 5 minute A-roll with split audio (English commentary/international sound) and is complimented by a B-Roll with clean international sound including soundbites with project manager Rudi Schmidt.
