Arianespace Flight 160 was cleared for liftoff on 5 April 2003 following a successful launch readiness review.
This thorough review included a readiness validation of the Ariane 5 and its dual satellite payload, a verification of the Spaceport’s launch infrastructure and a check of the down-range tracking network that will follow the mission.
Liftoff of the Ariane 5 with its dual satellite payload of INSAT 3A and GALAXY XII is set for the night of 8 to 9 April 8 during a launch window that begins at 22:49 GMT and closes at 23:30 GMT.
