ISS Crew Prepares for Arm Work, Replaces Electronics Boxes
Wednesday, Expedition Six Commander Ken Bowersox and NASA ISS Science Officer Don Pettit prepared for Thursday’s work with the robotic arm, or Canadarm2. They completed a session with graphics software to prepare for the arm work. They will use Canadarm2 to survey the International Space Station’s S1 (S-One) Truss.
Inside the Pirs Docking Compartment, Flight Engineer Nikolai Budarin replaced two electronics boxes. He also tested sound recording capabilities of a television system in the Zvezda Service Module.
