The 01 March 2003 marks the first anniversary of the launch of Envisat. Since its launch Envisat has been peforming well and data has been collected from its many instruments.

In celebration of this anniversary the ESA TV Service transmits the second of two new programmes on Envisat. This transmission outlines the data collected by Envisat since its launch with emphasis on how it has provided information on last years natural and man-made disasters such as the Prestige oil slick and the flooding of central Europe.

The programme comprises of a 7 minute A-roll with split audio (English commentary/international sound) and is complimented by a B-Roll with clean international sound.

The script will be available on the day of transmission as a PDF document under http://television.esa.int/photos/EbS28582.pdf.
