Terra Weekly Mission Status Update December 6 – 12, 2002

The Terra spacecraft is nominal. All instruments are in Science Mode, except the MOPITT instrument. MOPITT experienced a red limit on December 13 and the onboard monitors turned the cooler off and placed the instrument in Standby Mode. This anomaly is now being investigated.

The Terra Flight Operations Team conducted the Deep Space Calibration Maneuver Review with Code Q on December 12.

The next six MODIS yaw calibration maneuvers were conducted. Twelve of the twenty-four planned maneuvers have now been completed.

TERRA PLANS:

• Complete the MODIS yaw calibration maneuvers.
