Space Station Crew Returns to Normal Schedule
ISS

Aboard the International Space Station on Thursday, the Expedition Six crew returned to a normal workday after enjoying a light Christmas Day. Commander Ken Bowersox, Flight Engineer Nikolai Budarin and NASA ISS Science Officer Don Pettit performed routine maintenance and system checks aboard the orbital outpost.

They continued to oversee station science operations. They transferred data for the Foot/Ground Reaction Forces During Spaceflight, or FOOT, experiment. The objective of the experiment is to study changes in the musculoskeletal system during space flight. Also, the three crewmembers performed their daily exercise regimen.
