Week 19

STS/ISS Joint Operations have progressed smoothly and has successfully
accomplished all major objectives. The crew is having some off-duty time
today and will be performing transfer operations and other internal activities.
STS-112 is scheduled to undock tomorrow at approximately 8:15 a.m. CDT.

Payloads launched on STS-112/9A:
CGBA, CGBA Sortie Science Insert, PGBA, STES-7, and ZCG Samples

The Transfer of all MRPO payloads planned to be transferred from STS-112
to the ISS have been accomplished except CGBA. CGBA is scheduled for transfer
later today. The CGBA Sortie Science Insert will remain on STS-112 for
return.

Payloads to be returned on STS-112:
ADVASC, CGBA Sortie Science Insert, MEPS Samples, SAMS Hard Drive/Battery,
StelSys, STES-8, and ZCG Samples

The Transfer of all MRPO payloads planned to be transferred from ISS
to STS-112 have been accomplished.

Payloads currently on-board ISS:
BSTC, InSPACE, MAMS, MSG (facility), PFMI, PGBA, SAMS, STES-7, SUBSA and
ZCG.

Status:
MRPO payloads MAMS, PGBA, SAMS, STES-7 and ZCG continue nominal, basically
unattended, operations. BSTC, InSpace, MSG, PFMI, and SUBSA are currently
inactive.

EXPRESS RACKS 1, 2 and 4 (ER1, ER2& ER4) are powered and supporting
payload operations. ER3 is installed in the US Lab and will be checked
out later. ER5 was checked out during Increment 4 and powered down.

MAMS is operating nominally in the quasi-steady mode. HiRAP is currently
turned-off but will be turned-on prior to STS-112 undocking. MAMS data
is available on the acceleration measurement web page.

PGBA was transferred from the shuttle mid-deck to ER4 Friday and activated.
Payload health and status data is nominal, however the planned downlink
of video from the PGBA internal cameras today has not been successful.
Trouble-shooting activities are in progress.

All SAMS sensors in EXPRESS Racks are operating nominally. The SAMS
sensor in the MSG is turned-off. SAMS data is also being posted to the
acceleration measurement web page.

STES-7 and STES-8 were exchanged in ER4 Friday and all six growth chambers
of STES-7 were activated. Payload health and status data is nominal. STES-8
continues to be powered on the STS Mid-Deck for return.

ZCG was activated Saturday and is operating nominally. The payload will
be deactivated after 15 days.

Near-term Outlook:

Week 19 (10/14-10/20) – CGBA will be transferred from the shuttle
mid-deck and installed in ER4 today. STS-112 undock is planned for tomorrow
10/16. No other MRPO payload activities are planned for this week.

Week 20 (10/21-10/27) – Preliminary planning for this week is being based
on approximately 11 hours of crew time availability for NASA payload operations.
CGBA will be activated in ER4 on Tuesday, 10/22.
