SOHO Weekly Meeting Minutes Week 19, 6 – 12 May 2002
1. Announcements
—————-
* No TDRS maneuvers are planned until June. At SOHO’s Monday spacecraft
meeting the date for SOHO’s next MM/SK will be discussed. Please
notify SOCs of any instrument/planning concerns. Currently the
maneuver is scheduled for June 3.* PMI contractors are scheduled to perform corrective maintenance
on the UPS-20 system on May 6 from 9AM until 4:30PM. The UPS system
will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial power during
this activity. No impact to operations is expected. 3-UPS-20 supports
SOHO, W/P, and XTE missions.* PMI has been scheduled to perform corrective maintenance on
PDU-D16 on May 7 from approx. 10:30 am until 2:30 pm. This unit
is one of two PDU’s that feed the ISTP areas in building 3 rooms
C130, C150, C156 and C160. All equipment on PDU-16 must be
shut down and powered off prior to the maintenance start time.
SOC office computers will be down as well, so there will be no
commanding or telemetry during those hours.* Visit of House Appropriations Committee staffer will be 17 May
from 1-1:30pm local time.* Come celebrate the success of RHESSI, the first satellite named
for a Goddard scientist! Please join us at the Friday, May 17,
Scientific Colloquium, in the Goddard Building 8 Auditorium,
starting at 3:30 pm, for the following activities:
. Presentation to Mrs. Ramaty
. Colloquium by V. Ramanathan, “Aerosols and Climate – A Hazy
Future for the Blue Planet?”
