SOHO Weekly Meeting Minutes Week 17, 22-28 April 2002

1. Announcements

* PMI contractors are scheduled to perform preventive maintenance
on the UPS-15 system on April 29 from 9AM until 4:30PM. The UPS
system will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial power
during this activity. No impact to operations is expected. 3-UPS-15
supports SOHO, WIND/POLAR and XTE missions.

* MSSTA III launch postponed until April 29 (TBC)

2. Operations Constraints

* Tuesday’s schedule is being worked on yet – expect at least a 20-minute
gap in contact.

* DSS-27 may not be back up next week. If that is the case, there
will be additional schedule changes for later in the week.

Relevant Notes

CDS: Full sun observations on Monday, JOP104 and JOP155 during the
week, weekend studies on Sunday.

SUMER: JOP104 continues.

UVCS: JOP155 and mini-synoptic most of the week, with 24-hour synoptic
every third day. JOP104 and JOP136 will be TOO’s.

LASCO: C2/C3 synoptics and JOP155 support.

EIT: Half-resolution 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics.
EIT will support JOP155 with 195 subfields at the north
pole when UVCS participates.

MDI: Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams for continuous contact,
supporting Sac Peak.

TRACE: Supporting all the JOPs and RHESSI.
