The launch of Shuttle Endeavour on the STS-108 mission was postponed at least 24 hours today to allow further evaluation of issues
related to yesterday’s docking of the Progress cargo carrier to the International Space Station. The decision came during this morning’s
pre-tanking meeting based on recommendations from Houston Mission Control. The Houston Flight Operations Mission Management team
will meet early Friday morning to make a recommendation for a launch attempt Friday night.

Following scrub turnaround procedures, the countdown will resume at 4:23 a.m. Friday at the T-11 hour mark pointing toward a preferred
liftoff time of 7:18 p.m. The count will enter a one-hour built-in-hold at T-6 hours at 9:23 a.m., at which time Shuttle managers will decide
whether to proceed with propellant tanking. Loading of the liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen aboard the External Tank is scheduled to
begin at 9:50 a.m.

The forecast for Friday has a 10 percent probability of weather prohibiting the launch. It calls for scattered clouds in the launch area at
3,000 and 20,000 feet, winds from the southwest at 14 knots and a temperature of 74 degrees F. at launch time. In the Solid Rocket
Booster retrieval area, the sea state is 3-5 feet with winds from the southeast at 12-16 knots and a water temperature of 78 degrees.
