NOTES FROM THE CHAIR – NRC PANELS ON THE COMMUNITY DECADAL WEBSITE
Things are going well on the community site with more than 70 people
participating in a half dozen community panels with white paper
abstracts and drafts being posted already for Dust Astronomy, Exploring
Main Beld Asteroids, and Near-Earth Asteroid Sample Returns. Four other
panels are forming. We need more topical coverage, but it is a good
start.
When requested by individual NRC planetary decadal panels, we will be
establishing special real-time discussion forums on the community
decadal website as one means for them to post information and questions
for feedback and discussion. Panel positions on ultimate issues will be
informed by your input and formed near the end of this process.
