Astrobotic Completes First Xodiac Test Next to New Mock Lunar Surface Environment

Interesting things are happening at the Astrobotic complex in the Mojave Desert, which it and other companies are using to prepare their technology for trips to the Moon. Recently, the company’s Xodiac vertical-takeoff, vertical-landing (VTVL) rocket completed its first mission since Astrobotic bought it, with the flight happening next to a mock lunar surface Astrobotic is constructing as a testing environment.
