NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report 15 June 2001

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

DMSP operations were otherwise nominal over the past 24 hours.

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

At 1331z on June 14, the GOES-10 SAR Receiver was commanded into fixed gain
mode, as per SCP. The SAR Receiver was returned to automatic level control mode
at 1841z.

The final pre-GOES-M launch software release was completed by 1616z on June
14.

At 1728z on June 14, a GOES-10 frame break was observed and attributed to RFI
(unknown source).

GOES-10 North/South Maneuver: A GOES-10 North/South maneuver is scheduled for
June 19 at 2137z. No Imaging or Sounding scan operations will be available from
2100z to 2259z. GOES-8 will provide Full Disk imaging from 2045z to 2314z.

GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
