SATOPS MORNING REPORT – April 25, 2001

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

NOAA-14 rev 32556 / F at 1406Z on April 24:  G3A was noisy from
spacecraft with only 94.2% recovered — no other

recovery attempts possible due to spacecraft recorder management constraints. 
G5A was also noisy from spacecraft with

99% originally recovered.  Recovered 100% of G5A on rev 32558.

POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

OPS48, rev 20919, and OPS49, rev 07055, on April 24 – Performed routine
commanding to adjust Operational Line Scan

sensor thermal channel sensitivity and compensate for drift.

DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

At 1603Z on April 24 – GOES-8  image frame break due to loss of
signal synch.

At 1936Z on April 24 – GOES-10  image frame break due to loss of
signal synch.

At 0134Z on April 25 – GOES-10  image frame break due to RFI.

At 0727Z on April 25 – GOES-10  image frame break due to address
phasing error.

At 0822Z on April 25 – GOES-10  image frame break due to RFI –
source unknown.

At 0852Z on April 25 – GOES-10 image frame break due to IPS memory full
error.

to satisfy instrument keep-out-zone (KOZ) requirements.
