The OIG has announced a new audit of NASA waste reduction activities to determine whether NASA is adequately complying with EO13101. Fieldwork will be
conducted at NASA HQ, KSC, MSFC, and WFF.
GSFC is in violation of our Title V permit under the Clean Air Act. We will self-disclose to EPA and the state. Are working this with Legal.
Have issued an announcement on our new communication services.
Briefed HQ/J/Sutton on the status of the CI Travel Services contract. Metrics indicate improvement, although some concerns remain and are being worked.
Ed Oliver is Acting Division Chief of the Logistics Management Division while Marilyn Tolliver is on leave.
GSFC’s 28th Annual Small Business Conference is scheduled fro 5/24/01.
The library is planning a 40th anniversary celebration on 5/2/01.
GAO notified NASA on 2/5/01 that they are initiating a review of USDA’s Graduate School at the request of the Chairman, Investigations and Oversight, House
Committee on Agriculture. GSFC will be involved with this review.
