NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report 15 Feb 2001
SATOPS MORNING REPORT – February 15, 2001
POES
No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.
Sometime either today or tomorrow, engineers are planning to briefly
re-enable rephasing on the NOAA-15 MIRP to temporarily re-synchronize AVHRR
data to the MIRP. Since this action will impact other operational
products, this action will only take place after proper coordination with
OSDPD.
POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
DMSP
No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.
Data loss summary due to yesterday’s POGO/Thule tracking/power problems:
OPS47 rev 30416: Category I data loss (4027 spacecraft seconds
/ 100.675 playback seconds)
OPS47 rev 30416: Category 2 data loss (1388 spacecraft seconds
/ 347 playback seconds)
OPS49 rev 06076: Category I data loss (4079 spacecraft seconds
/ 101.975 playback seconds)
OPS49 rev 06076: Category 2 data loss (676 spacecraft seconds
/ 169 playback seconds)
All POGO passes through 2104Z were reassigned to other ground stations
as a result of the problem. No additional problems noted since the
2104Z support.
GOES
No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.
Battery reconditioning activities continue.
GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
