NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report 14 Feb 2001

SATOPS MORNING REPORT – February 14, 2001

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

NOAA-12 rev 50660 / F at 1721Z on February 13:  G1B and G4B lost
due to ground system recorder problems and not recoverable due to spacecraft
recorder sequence constraints.  G3A was short with only 98% recovered
due to loss of signal before playback completed.

NOAA-15 rev 14328 / F at 0142Z on February 14:  HRPT post-pass
data transfer and was lost due to ground equipment problems.

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

OPS47 rev 30416 / POGO at 1013Z on February 14:  Category I data
loss due to Thule Tracking Station power problems.  At this time,
looks like all data will be recovered on following rev, but timelines were
not met.  Tracking station time until return to operations is unknown.

OPS48 rev 19941 / POGO at 1050Z on February 14:  Data not recovered
due to Thule Tracking Station power problems.  At this time, looks
like all data will be recovered on following rev.

OPS49 rev 06076 / POGO at 1059Z on February 14:  Category I data
loss due to Thule Tracking Station power problems.  At this time,
looks like all data will be recovered on following rev, but timelines were
not met.

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

Battery reconditioning activities continue.

GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
