NOAA GEOS SATOPS Morning Report 8 August 2000
SATOPS MORNING REPORT – August 8, 2000
GOES
No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.
GOES-8 rapid scan operations were activated from 2126Z to 0226Z for
severe weather in Nebraska.
GOES-10 frame break occurred at 0117Z due to loss of signal synchronization
at Wallops CDA.
POES
No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.
NOAA-15 rev 11617, G5B experienced recorder configuration problem.
100% of the data was recovered.
NOAA-14 rev 28887, G3A was noisy from the spacecraft with 69.5% of the
data recovered. Tape recorder management limitations prevented another
recovery of the data.
NOAA-11 rev 61212, S4A lost antenna lock with 73.5% of the data recovered.
NOAA-15 rev 11624 G2B and rev 11625 G3B were noisy from the recorder.
100% of the data was recovered.
DMSP
No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.
DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
