NASA ROSES-20 Amendment 51: Topical Workshops, Symposia, and conferences Major Revision and New Final Due Date
Through Topical Workshops, Symposia, and conferences (TWSC), program element E.2 of ROSES, the Science Mission Directorate (SMD) solicits proposals from eligible organizations for events, including asynchronous and virtual workshops, etc., that contribute to SMD’s science, technology and exploration research goals. Proposal submission requires designation of at least one reviewing division within SMD. However, proposals that are relevant to more than one division are welcome.
The amended TWSC-20 1) clarifies that entirely virtual events and access innovations may be proposed, 2) adds participation by SMD’s new Biological and Physical Sciences Division, and 3) adds safety reminders and accessibility by persons with disabilities resource references and related changes, e.g. COVID-19 impacts. New text is in bold and deleted text is shown as strikethrough in the TWSC-20 solicitation.
TWSC does not accept Notices of Intent, but potential proposers must contact an SMD Program Officer to confirm relevancy and availability of funds before preparing or submitting a proposal. Proposals may be submitted to TWSC at any time until the new final due date April 14, 2021.
On or about September 10, 2020, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020” (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.
Questions regarding relevance of events and/or available budget should be directed to the appropriate program officer listed at https://science.nasa.gov/
Policy questions or comments may be directed to Mary Frances Sladek at mary.f.sladek@nasa.gov (subject line = “TWSC-20”). Reminder: This NSPIRES email is not a complete summary of TWSC, please read the full TWSC solicitation before emailing.
