NASA Call for Peer Reviewers: EONS 2019 MUREP Institutional Research Opportunity (MIRO) Group 6 Renewal
Good afternoon. NASA Research and Education Support Services (NRESS) is seeking persons willing to serve as peer reviewers for the MUREP Institutional Research Opportunity (MIRO) Group 6 Renewal program element listed under Education Opportunities in NASA STEM 2019 (EONS-2019). Information about the opportunity, proposal requirements and evaluation criteria can be found on the MIRO Group 6 Renewal page in the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES).
The peer review process is completed in two stages: an online review followed by a panel virtual meeting. The proposals are first reviewed individually and anonymously online. When the online review period ends, a panel will virtually convene to discuss the proposals and identify those recommended for funding.
Proposals are approximately 15-20 pages in length. No more than 10 proposals will be received, and review assignments will be made evenly across selected reviewers.
The online review period is scheduled May 13-18, 2020
The virtual panel is scheduled to be held May 19-21, 2020
Reviewer instruction webinar is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 1:00 pm PST
- Your willingness to participate in this particular peer review does not guarantee selection. Reviewers will be selected based on the subject matter of proposals received.
- If you are selected for this specific opportunity, you will be notified via email, with detailed instructions on the process.
- Non-civil servant online reviewers will receive $75 for each proposal fully reviewed and submitted in NSPIRES prior to the close of the review period.
- Non-civil servant panelists will receive a $200/per day honorarium.
If you are available to serve as an online reviewer and/or virtual panelist, please complete the information below and send it to NASAMIRO@nasaprs.com by April 20, 2020.
Thank you.
Tamra Ross
