NASA ROSES-20 Amendment 2: Science Activation Program Integration Final Text and Due Dates

The SMD Science Activation Program seeks to further enable NASA science experts and content into the learning environment more effectively and efficiently with learners of all ages. Competitively selected teams from across the Nation work in partnership with each other and with NASA to connect NASA science experts, real content, and experiences with community leaders to do science in ways that activate participation and promote understanding. Baselined in 2016, the Science Activation Program is building long-term relationships to bring NASA science to learners of all ages.

 

At a top level, SMD Science Activation Program Objectives are:

 

·         Enable STEM Education

·         Improve U.S. Scientific Literacy

·         Advance National Education Goals

·         Leverage Efforts through Partnerships

 

ROSES-2020 Amendment 2 releases final text and due dates for program element E.6 Science Activation Program Integration. Notices of intent are requested by March 25, 2020, and proposals are due May 27, 2020.

 

On or about February 24, 2020, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020” (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2020and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2020/
