ULA Delta II JPSS-1 Launch Set for November 18

The ULA Delta II launch carrying the JPSS-1 mission for NASA and NOAA remains on track. The mission is set to lift off on a Delta II rocket on Saturday, Nov. 18 from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Today’s forecast shows a 100% percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch. The launch time is 1:47 a.m. PT.

Credentialed media planning to put remote cameras on SLC-2 should meet at the Vandenberg south gate parking lot at 11:00 a.m. PT on Friday, Nov. 17. Credentialed media covering launch should meet at the Vandenberg south gate parking lot no later than 12:15 a.m. PT on Saturday, Nov. 18.
