NASA JSC is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercial services: Open Innovation for Technology Scouting Contract (OITS).

This procurement is a total small business set-aside.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and Size Standard are 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a size standard of $5 Million.

The anticipated release date of the RFP NNJ17598394R is 12/07/2016 with a proposal due date of 2:00 PM CDT on 01/17/2017.

All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html.

The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.

Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).

All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail) to Marta Choma at marta.choma@nasa.gov and Anna Carter anna.carter-1@nasa.gov not later than December 15th, 2016. Telephone questions will not be accepted.

This is modification 1 to the synopsis entitled Open Innovation for Technology Scouting NNJ17598394R which was posted on December 7th, 2016. You are notified that the following changes are made: to clarify the due date on the submission of proposals is Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 and to upload final RFP documentation.

The due date for responses is not extended.
