2016 International Summer School in Astrobiology
The 2016 International Summer School in Astrobiology will be held at the summer campus of the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo (UIMP), Palacio de la Magdalena, Santander, Spain on June 20 24, 2016. Application Deadline: Thursday, March 31th, 2016
This year’s theme is Earth Analog Environments and the Search for Life Beyond the Earth. The school will provide an interdisciplinary examination of the chemical, physical and geological properties of potential extraterrestrial habitats and an in-depth description and analysis of sites on Earth with similar characteristics. In particular, lectures and activities will consider icy satellites, rocky planets in the Solar System, extreme Earth environments, and terrestrial exoplanets.

Scholarships covering travel costs, school fees, accommodation and meals are provided by the NAI for students studying at U.S. institutions. Applications are now open to graduate students studying at US Institutions. CLICK HERE to apply.
Students not studying at US institutions cannot apply for fellowships at this time.
