Faculty Position in Planetary Science at Johns Hopkins University

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences invites applications for the first of three anticipated tenure-track faculty positions in planetary science. The first position will be filled at the Assistant Professor level, starting as early as Fall, 2013. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized and externally funded research program, help develop and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching, and supervise graduate student research. A Ph.D. is required in the Earth and/or planetary sciences or related discipline; post-doctoral experience is desirable. The successful candidate will further be expected to devote a portion of their research to exploring links between terrestrial and planetary processes.
