SATOPS Morning Report: Tuesday, May 15, 2012

DOY 136

GOES
GOES-12 DOY135 missed the 02:14z South American image due to the Imager instrument stuck in star

GOES-12 DOY136 intermittent Imager instrument cycle slips from: 0323z to 11:21z.

GOES-12 DOY136 missed the following images due to network problem: 0614z, 0627, 0630z, 0830Z

All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
DMSP F-17 Rev. 28513 from FNMOC (Fleet Numerical Meteorological and Oceanographic Center), Monterey, CA. will be delayed. FNMOC site is currently investigating the problem.

Planned LRIT (Low Rate Image Transmission) East and West Broadcast Outage from May 14, 2012 at 17:00 UTC to May 14, 2012 at 20:00 UTC.

The primary NPORT-6 GINI hung on the 1900 image due to frame breaks. resulting in the loss of the 1900z AKNATL, 1910z WCONUS, 1915z and 1930z images.

The primary NPORT-6 GINI hung on the 0200 -0230 images because of Remap program on NPORT-6. Product(s) or Data Impacted: AKNATL, AKREG, HAWNATL, WCONUS, NHEMI, SUPERN.
