Description

The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) Educational Programs Office (EPO) seeks an external partner to develop and implement a competitive funding opportunity to support innovative Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programming for students and teachers in Northeast Ohio. In an endeavor to promote STEM initiatives, EPO is providing one time seed funding for school districts, schools, 501(c3) non-profit summer providers, and museums. EPO is seeking proposals from educational organizations and non-profit organizations that can provide project and fiscal management for the recruitment, review, selection and monitoring of competitive sub-awards to Northeast Ohio organizations.

NASA will continue the Agency’s tradition of investing in the Nation’s education programs and supporting the country’s educators who play a key role in preparing, inspiring, exciting, encouraging, and nurturing the young minds of today who will be the workforce of tomorrow.

Proposals must be submitted electronically via NASA’s NSPIRES proposal data system (http://nspires.nasaprs.com ). Hard copies of the proposal will not be accepted. Electronic proposals must be submitted by the Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) at the applicant institution. Electronic submission by the AOR serves as the required original signature by an authorized official of the proposing institution. NASA plans to use the NSPIRES system to facilitate the review process so all proposals received through Grants.gov will be transferred into NSPIRES.

The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 611710 and $7M respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.
