ROSES-11 Amendment 42: Cancellation of preproposal workshop for the Technology Development for the Physics of the Cosmos (TPCOS) science area from Appendix D.8, Strategic Astrophysics Technology.

The Strategic Astrophysics Technology (SAT) program is focused on the advancement of those technologies judged to be most critical to making substantive near-term progress on the recommendations of the 2010 Decadal Survey of Astronomy and Astrophysics. The SAT Program is designed to support the maturation of technologies whose feasibility has already been demonstrated (i.e., TRL 3), to the point where they can be incorporated into NASA flight missions (TRL 6-7).

This amendment is issued to announce the cancellation of the informational preproposal workshop for TPCOS SAT proposals, announced on page D.8-10. The proposers are strongly encouraged to read the SAT proposal guidelines very carefully and in their entirety before submitting their proposals.

The due date for proposals remains unchanged at March 23, 2012.
