Description
Dynetics Technical Services, Inc. (DTS) is issuing a Notice of Intent to Advertise a NASA Emergency, Sole Source Procurement Request for Quote (RFQ) through EMC Corporation. This sustaining maintenance support is for existing EMC hardware and proprietary software. EMC only, no substitutions will be acceptable. Ongoing maintenance is needed to support the NASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center (NEACC) Data Domain equipment. The contract is maintained by the Marshall Information Technology Services (MITS) contract located at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), AL.
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) and are located in the attached files. This includes the RFQ, an Equipment List and Representations and Certifications, which need to be completed and returned with your offer. Dynetics Technical Services, Inc (DTS). Terms and Conditions will apply unless the response proposed is GSA pricing in which case DTS Reps and Certs nor Terms and Conditions will apply to this award. Or the Terms and Conditions of the original License Agreement govern. Interested vendors have three (3) days from this publication date of this Synopsis/RFQ to submit their proposal to the undersigned at the Email Address or fax number listed below. There are no exceptions or extensions to the required due date of responses. All uploaded attachments must be completed and are considered a part of the RFQ. It is the vendor’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation amendments (if any). Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the Synopsis/RFQ. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 02/21/2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this Synopsis/RFQ. There will not be an announcement of any kind regarding the award of this order.
