Description

In support of NASA’s Small Business Program and other procurement initiatives at the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), the NASA Office of Procurement will be hosting an Industry Day on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Michoud Assembly Facility (Building 115), beginning at 12:30 PM Central Time. This Industry Day is being held to provide an overview of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) Program, SLS Procurement Strategy, the MAF Business Model and Affordability Initiatives, as well as facilities and capabilities of MAF, and a discussion on the MAF Contracting Process. Following the presentations, participants will be given a tour of the facility in order to showcase MAF’s Production Capabilities.

All attendees must be U.S. citizens. Registration is requested by close of business November 7, 2011; a limited number of space will be available for late registration through November 11, 2011.
