Canadarm2 Grasps Raffaello
From the International Space Station’s cupola, astronauts Sandy Magnus and Doug Hurley have grasped the Raffaello multipurpose logistics module with Canadarm2, the station’s robotic arm.
Raffaello’s hatch was closed at 1:03 a.m. EDT today and the Harmony side of the hatch was closed at 3:23 a.m.
Raffaello, which was attached to the Harmony node at 11:07 a.m. on July 10, will be transported through space back to Atlantis’ cargo bay for its return to Earth.
