Description

NASA/KSC is releasing a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the Expendable Launch Services Integrated Support 2 (ELVIS 2) contract. Previous releases regarding ELVIS 2 were a Sources Sought Notice and Draft Performance Work Statement (NNK10ELVIS2R).

This procurement is a small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541330 and $27M, respectively.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26.

An ombudsman has been appointed – See NASA Specific Note “B”.

The DRFP is not a solicitation and the Government is not requesting proposals. This pre-solicitation synopsis is for planning and information purposes only. It is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for any information solicited.

It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the final RFP and amendments (if any). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. Any referenced notes may be viewed at the URL identified below.

The draft solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
