DOY 051
GOES
Software release for GIMTACS and GAS was completed yesterday. During the fail over from TCS6 (Wallops) to TCS2 (SOCC) The GOES-12 1837z Northern Hemisphere and Sounding were missed due to the fail over taking longer than expected.
GOES-11 After the fail over to TCS#2 a telemetry dropout caused the schedule to suspend resulting in the 1823z Northern Pacific sounding being lost. At 2108z a ground mis-configuration resulted in the IMC upload to fail. The IMC upload was restarted and successful. However, the 2120z Northern Pacific sounding was lost.
