This is a view inside the 400 square-foot habitat housing the NEEMO 18 crew for nine days underwater off Key Largo, and it includes one of the portals that will be the crew’s “eyes” to the ocean environment.
A number of extravehicular activities planned will also allow the crew members closer contact with their curious finned neighbors seen through the portal. Photo credit: NASA
