One-on-one communications will follow from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Gilruth Center. See below for information on how to sign up for one-on-one sessions.
Goals
The goals of Industry Day are to:
1. Promote competition on the proposed JASS Contract acquisition strategy.
2. Develop industry understanding of the Government’s current vision and objectives pertaining to the current contract.
3. Allow NASA/JSC to utilized industry input to improve the JASS acquisition strategy.
Sign-up Requirements
Industry Day is open to all firms; both companies that have performed work at JSC and those that have not performed work and are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
Interested parties are requested to RSVP by close of business on Friday, March 28, 2008, by e-mail to Lil Carr at lilia.carr-1@nasa.gov. Attendance is limited to two attendees per company. The RSVP request shall include the following information:

Questions and Answers (Q&A) for Industry Day
Industry Day will focus on the understanding of the Government’s current vision and objectives pertaining to the current contract at NASA/JSC. Absolutely no discussion(s) of the future contract acquisition or its requirements will occur. Questions related to the contract acquisition or its requirements will not be considered or answered.
A Q&A period will follow at the end of the presentation. Questions may be answered, but keep in mind that this event is an open exchange with industry and no answers given will be considered official.
A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is planned to be released. After the draft RFP is released NASA/JSC will hold a pre-proposal conference, which will allow industry to ask questions specific to the draft RFP. Industry will then be solicited to submit questions in writing so that the Government may officially respond.
No questions will be considered or answered concerning the follow-on procurement.
One-on-One Communications with Industry
To facilitate open communications with industry, personnel will be available for one-on-one meetings.
An individual company or a group of businesses planning to team or subcontract may attend; however, each offeror is limited to two participants. Meetings will not exceed 15 minutes in length.
The Government hopes that industry will take this opportunity to meet with the Government early enough in the procurement process to provide input into the procurement strategy, as well as meet with the Government after the Draft RFP is released to discuss the draft Statement of Work, terms and conditions, and draft solicitation instruction.
Scheduling of appointment times on Industry Day for one-on-ones are on a first come, first served basis. Appointment times after the Industry Day will be contingent on the availability of personnel. However, we will attempt to schedule your meeting as quickly as possible to prevent unnecessary delays. No meetings will be scheduled after the release of the Final RFP.
To schedule your one-on-one appointment on Industry Day please contact the Source Evaluation Board Secretary, Lil Carr, via e-mail at lilia.carr-1@nasa.gov no later than Friday, March 28, 2008.
Appointments will be scheduled in 15 minute increments between 12:30-5 p.m.
