NASA Ames Research Center K10 Rovers to Visit Haughton Crater on Devon Island
July 9 – 31 the Intelligent Robotics group will be conducting a field test at Haughton Crater (Devon Island, Canadian Arctic) with two K10 rovers.
The rovers will conduct a comprehensive site survey of the “Drill Hill” area using a 3D lidar (for topographic mapping) and the JPL CRUX ground-penetrating radar (for subsurface mapping).
Pete Worden will assist in field operations. Remote operations (rover driving and site survey monitoring) will be conducted by IRG researchers at JSC.
