ESA TV Coverage of Shuttle Mission STS-116

On 9 December at 01:47 GMT, Space Shuttle Discovery successfully lifted off for a twelve-day mission to the International Space Station.

Schedule details for the ESA TV coverage of the mission until 13 December have already been posted on the ESA TV Website. the satellite details will be added as soon as the bookings have been confirmed, in the course of 10 December.

The complete schedule for the mission until landing will be posted on the Website in the course of Monday 11 December.

For the first time, ESA TV will make the majority of transmissions during a Shuttle mission available for download in broadcast quality via ftp-transfer. Details will be provided in each notification mailing.
