MetOp launch countdown interrupted

The countdown for the launch of MetOp on Soyuz was interrupted at 16:28 GMT, a few seconds before engine ignition.

The satellite carrier of the ESA TV live transmission will remain up to enable, as soon as available, additional information to be provided by Starsem, the launch service provider:

Eutelsat W2 at 16 degrees East, Transponder B6 vertical, channel F (SCPC)

F=11.172 MHz, SR=5.632 MS/sec, FEC=3/4, Carrier up 15:30-19:00 GMT
