ESA-TV coverage Soyuz landing
A busy September onboard the International Space Station will come to a close this week, as a Soyuz Capsule will undock to bring the resident Expedition 13 Crew and “space tourist” Anousheh Ansari back to Earth. The ESA-TV coverage of events is as follows:
28 September 18:30 – 19:00 GMT
ISS Farewell and Soyuz Hatch Closure
A short ceremony will precede the entering of astronauts Vinogradov, Williams and Ansari into the Soyuz capsule. At 18:45 GMT, the hatch between the Station and the Capsule will be closed.
29 September 09:30 – 10:00 GMT
Expedition 13/Ansari Landing B-Roll
The landing of the Soyuz capsule is scheduled for 29 Septmeber at 01:10 GMT in Kazachstan but live images will not be available because the landing site is in a remote, sparsely populated area. Transmitted some hours after landing, this B-roll will include images of the landing, of the astronauts at the landing site and their first reactions, and of a welcome ceremony in nearby Kustanai.
