Background information on the transmission:
Astronauts Dan Burbank and Canadian Steve MacLean have begun their planned six-and-a-half-hour spacewalk. Their task is to complete work on a rotary joint that will slowly turn the new set of massive solar arrays to keep them face on to the sun.
NASA provides daily flight day highlights for all Shuttle Missions. These are B-rolls with the best images from the past 24 hours, and of the key mission milestones.
ESA-TV provides a rebroadcast of these Flight Day Five highlights with the space walk images, in time for late evening and breakfast news programmes.
