ESA TV coverage of the launch of Cryosat
The launch of Cryosat, ESA’s mission to study global ice and climate change, is scheduled for Saturday 8 October 2005 at 15:02 GMT. Separation of the spacecraft from the launcher’s upper stage is scheduled for 16:36 GMT.
The ESA TV Service will provide live coverage of these events as follows:
8 October 11:00-11:30 GMT Cryosat pre-launch B-roll: launch preparations and live atmo images from mission control and launch pad
8 October 14:45-15:15 GMT Cryosat launch live clean feed from ESA/ESOC and Plessetsk Cosmodrome
8 October 16:30-16:45 GMT Cryosat separation and orbital injection clean feed from ESA/ESOC
These three transmissions are on: Eutelsat W2 at 16 degrees east, Transponder B6, channel H (vertical), SCPC/4:2:0, F=11190 MHz, SR=5.632 MS/sec, FEC=3/4

This transmission is on a different channel: Eutelsat W2 at 16 degrees east, Transponder B6, channel G (vertical), SCPC/4:2:0, F=11181 MHz, SR=5.632 MS/sec, FEC=3/4
