L-3 ULA UPDATE: ULA Delta IV GPS IIF-5

The Air Force’s GPS IIF-5 launch is set to liftoff on a ULA Delta IV rocket on Thursday, Feb. 20 from Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
The 19-minute launch window opens at 8:40 p.m. EST. Today’s L-3 forecast continues to show an 80 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch.

L-0: Thursday, Feb. 20
– 8:45 a.m.: Remote camera photographers meet in the Space Florida parking lot for transportation to the SLC-37 to set cameras and tower rollback photo opportunity. We will be taking a bus again for set up.
– 6:30 p.m.: 45th SW/PA meets media at the Space Florida parking for escort to media launch viewing site
– 8:20 p.m.: The GPS IIF-5 launch will be carried live beginning 20 minutes prior to launch and will conclude approximately 25 minutes following launch. A simulcast of the broadcast can be viewed here: http://www.ulalaunch.com/site/pages/Multimedia_Webcast.shtml
