The Expedition 10 crew tackled a number of tasks in the U.S. and Russian segments of the International Space Station on Tuesday.

Inside the U.S. segment, the crew conducted a routine inspection of the Earthward-facing observation window in the Destiny Laboratory Module. Commander Leroy Chiao used a digital camera during the inspection to document the window’s condition. Chiao also conducted a routine checkout of a gas analyzer system in the Human Research Facility located in Destiny.

The crew completed scheduled maintenance on telemetry subsystems for the Russian Elektron oxygen-generation system. Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov performed the second part of cable installation for an onboard equipment support system in the Zvezda Service Module. He performed the first stage in December.

In other activities, the crew monitored autonomous science operations, maintained ISS systems and exercised.
